Starting Out: Misc Data

Short for Miscellaneous Data, Misc Data is data which is copied by the digivice of the tamer as a digimon is defeated. It can be applied to a digimon that a tamer has or if its free flowing and left in the wild can be absorbed by a wild digimon. The only way a tamer can apply misc data to his/her digimon is within a lab at one of the Guard Teams. Misc Data in most cases effects a digimon's genetic make up by altering it and including the code, in most cases the initial application shows no results but within a few digicycles it is completely absorbed into a digimon's core being and becomes apart of them. This affects a digimon's evolutionary tree for one stage, the stage it affects depends on what stage the misc data was applied on.

Misc Data can also be sold in between tamers and is one of the most sought after things within the digital world by a certain Guard Team. Misc Data can also destroy a digimon from the inside if its applied in the wrong way or if data is given to a digimon who is not compatible.
